Welcome, Wellesley class of 1977!
The premier of “Our Stories, Our Voices” Part 1 at our Virtually Verdant Kickoff on Sunday September 11, 2022, brought back memories of reunion and took us back to 1973 before bringing us into the present. We had a wonderful time connecting and reconnecting afterward, both in small groups and as one large group. There were insights into the making of the video and lots of conversation about issues and topics of interest to explore in future Virtually Verdant
programs.Part 1 is now available for viewing on demand on this site. If you submitted something for the record and don’t see it in this first installment, it will be in Part 2 where everyone will have a video dedicated to the materials sent in. The 2-part series will then be available on demand at least until the end of January and a free download will be made available to any member of our class wishing to have a digital copy. Look for more details to come in the class newsletter.
Our Stories, Our Voices – Part 1
A Note from the Producer
I promoted the idea of creating a video record of our class instead of a print or digital book format, even though it would mean months and months of video and audio editing to produce. The reason behind my insanity is a long story, but fortunately there is also a simple explanation. To borrow words from our classmate who is a fountain of wisdom, Polly Munts Talen: This project was a labor of love for me, a real gift; I needed it.
Sincerely,
Linda Coulombe Roybal ‘77
